About

Phil NicholsPhil Nichols (M.A.Ed) is a middle and high school English teacher and adjunct professor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He reads voraciously and writes while most people are still sleeping. He is a member of such esteemed organizations as the National Council of Teachers of English, the Teachers & Writers Collaborative, the International Reading Association, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the National Communication Association.

Previous lifetimes have found Phil working in journalism, publishing, and film production. Some of this work was for local organizations; some of it was for nationally recognizable companies.

Even as a full-time teacher, Phil writes and consults for various film and media projects. Many of these are in collaboration with his good friends at @inthecarmedia.

Phil has been to 49 states and 10 Canadian provinces. He has met five of the last six presidents. He frequently runs out of bookshelf space – both at home and in his classroom. And he is relatively comfortable writing in the third person.
